Club reports

Reports gathers what a committee is usually asked for: how the membership is moving, what has been invoiced this year, how newsletters performed, and how many people actually turned up to events.

  • Membership over time — joins, leavers, and the net number that goes in the annual report
  • Revenue so far this year — what you have invoiced, which is the number somebody will ask for in October
  • Event attendance — bought against arrived, per event
  • Newsletter reach — who you are actually reaching

Export it when you need the figures in a document.

Worth being clear about, because the two can show different numbers and both be right.

Reports Activity. What you invoiced, who joined, who came
Finances Money. What was actually received, what is still owed, what it cost

An invoice you issued in December appears in Reports as revenue for the year, and in the books as money owed until it is paid. That is not a discrepancy — it is the difference between what you earned and what arrived.

Tickets sold tells you about your marketing. Attendance tells you about your event. A gap between them that grows year on year is worth a committee conversation long before the event stops being viable.
