The door — checking people in

Open Check-in on a phone and pick the event. Everything here is built for one hand, in a doorway, with a queue.
Point the camera at the QR code on the ticket. It works off paper, off a screen, or off a Wallet pass.
Green means in. A ticket that has already been scanned says so — which is the whole reason to scan rather than tick a list.
Find somebody by name
Section titled “Find somebody by name”They forgot the email, or their phone is dead. Manual searches by name, email or code — tap the person, they are in.
Somebody who never bought a ticket
Section titled “Somebody who never bought a ticket”That is the Walk-in tab, and it is the one worth knowing before the evening rather than during it. Add them on the spot and choose how they are paying:

| Free | No charge. Only available on a ticket that costs nothing |
A walk-in becomes a real attendee — counted in your numbers, included when you message people afterwards, and booked in your accounts if your club keeps them.
Keeping an eye on the room
Section titled “Keeping an eye on the room”The Summary tab shows how many are in and how many are still expected, per ticket type. It is the number the committee asks for at nine o’clock.
