Somebody joins. Then what? In most clubs: nothing for three weeks, and then they wonder whether they joined anything at all.
Settings → Onboarding is a short series of emails that goes out by itself after somebody becomes a member — a welcome, how to reach the committee, how to get into the member portal.
Switching it on
Section titled “Switching it on”There is a master switch at the top, and it takes effect the moment you click it. Everything else on the page saves when you press Save.
That difference is on purpose: a club that switches the flow off and closes the tab must not find it still running.
Choosing the steps
Section titled “Choosing the steps”Each step can be switched on or off on its own, and you can edit what each one says. Start with two or three. A welcome, something useful a week later, and an invitation to the portal is plenty — this is a club, not a marketing funnel.
Who gets it
Section titled “Who gets it”Only people who join from now on, and only those added the normal way. Members who arrive through an import are deliberately left out.
Watching it work
Section titled “Watching it work”The page shows how many people are currently in the flow and how far they have got. If the numbers look wrong, they are — and it is better to find out here than from a member forwarding you an email they should not have received.
