Templates — stop rebuilding the same newsletter
Ce contenu n’est pas encore disponible dans votre langue.
Most clubs send roughly the same newsletter every time: a heading, a photo, three items, a button. Rebuilding that each month is the reason the newsletter stops happening by August.
Saving one
Section titled “Saving one”Build the layout once, then save it as a template — under the Templates tab beside your newsletters.
Keep the structure and the parts that never change: your header, your sign-off, your colours. Leave the words as obvious placeholders.
Using one
Section titled “Using one”Start a new newsletter from the template and replace the text. Ten minutes rather than an hour, and it looks like the last one — which is the point. A newsletter that looks consistent gets read as “from the club” rather than “from whoever had time”.
How many
Section titled “How many”Two or three. Something like:
- The monthly — items, photo, dates
- The short announcement — one thing, one button
- The invitation — for the AGM and the Chlausabend
More than that and nobody can remember which to start from.
Changing a template later
Section titled “Changing a template later”Editing a template does not touch newsletters you have already sent. They are finished documents, and your members have them.
