The assistant on your event pages

Ce contenu n’est pas encore disponible dans votre langue.

Your public event pages can carry a small chat that answers a visitor’s questions: where it is, what it costs, whether tickets are still available, whether children pay.

It is off until you switch it on, under Settings → Support agent.

You have to say where a visitor goes when the assistant cannot help — an email address, usually the committee’s.

This is not a formality and Flok will not let you skip it. An assistant with nowhere to escalate to is a dead end wearing a friendly face: the visitor who needed a person is the one who was about to buy a ticket.

It reads and explains: your event details, your public pages, what you have written.

It cannot book, cancel, refund or send anything. There is nothing a visitor can make it do to your club.

You choose four suggested questions it offers before anyone types. Make them the ones you actually get asked — parking, children’s prices, whether non-members are welcome. The default set is a guess; yours will be better.

It is sent to Google to produce the answer, with email addresses, phone numbers and card-shaped numbers stripped out first. Messages are kept for a limited period so you can see what people are asking.

Leave it off. Your event pages work exactly as before, and the committee address is on them anyway.
