Who can do what

Under Users you invite people and give each one a role. Roles decide what somebody sees, not just what they may click: a screen somebody has no right to is not in their menu.
The roles
Section titled “The roles”| Role | For |
|---|---|
| Owner | You. Everything, including billing and deleting the club |
| Admin | A committee member who runs the club day to day |
| Editor | Someone who writes newsletters or runs events, and should not see billing |
| Viewer | Read-only. Useful for a new committee member finding their feet |
| Door staff | Check-in and nothing else. Safe for a helper at the door |
| Kassier/in — Finanzen | The books, and the members they relate to |
| Revisor/in — Rechnungsprüfung | The books and every receipt, and nothing else |
The last two arrive with Finances and keep their German names everywhere, because that is what Swiss clubs call those jobs.
The one worth understanding
Section titled “The one worth understanding”Revisor/in is the role that lets you hand the books to somebody outside the committee. She sees every entry and every receipt — and no member list, no events, no newsletters.
That is enforced where it counts, not in the menu. An auditor’s login genuinely cannot read your address book.
Inviting somebody
Section titled “Inviting somebody”Invite by email. They get a link, sign in with a six-digit code, and they are in — no password to choose, nothing for you to reset later.
You can change a role afterwards, and remove access without deleting the person’s account, since the same person may belong to another club.
