The assistant on your event pages
Your public event pages can carry a small chat that answers a visitor’s questions: where it is, what it costs, whether tickets are still available, whether children pay.
It is off until you switch it on, under Settings → Support agent.
Before you can switch it on
Section titled “Before you can switch it on”You have to say where a visitor goes when the assistant cannot help — an email address, usually the committee’s.
This is not a formality and Flok will not let you skip it. An assistant with nowhere to escalate to is a dead end wearing a friendly face: the visitor who needed a person is the one who was about to buy a ticket.
What it can and cannot do
Section titled “What it can and cannot do”It reads and explains: your event details, your public pages, what you have written.
It cannot book, cancel, refund or send anything. There is nothing a visitor can make it do to your club.
The four questions
Section titled “The four questions”You choose four suggested questions it offers before anyone types. Make them the ones you actually get asked — parking, children’s prices, whether non-members are welcome. The default set is a guess; yours will be better.
What a visitor’s message does
Section titled “What a visitor’s message does”It is sent to Google to produce the answer, with email addresses, phone numbers and card-shaped numbers stripped out first. Messages are kept for a limited period so you can see what people are asking.
If you would rather not
Section titled “If you would rather not”Leave it off. Your event pages work exactly as before, and the committee address is on them anyway.
