Handing over to your successor

This is the week a club most often loses its software. Somebody steps down, the login was theirs, and the next person starts a spreadsheet because it is easier than asking.
Twenty minutes of handover prevents it.
Before the AGM
Section titled “Before the AGM”Close the financial year once the books are done, and let your Revisorin sign off. A closed, audited year is the clean line between one treasurer and the next — and your successor inherits a position rather than an argument.
Print the two reports for the folder. Export the journal with its receipts; that file is the club’s and does not depend on Flok existing.
On the day
Section titled “On the day”- Invite your successor under Users, with the role they need — Admin for a president, Kassier/in for a treasurer.
- Have them sign in once while you are both in the room. It takes a minute and removes every “it did not work” email in January.
- Hand over nothing else. No password, no shared login. They have their own.
Afterwards
Section titled “Afterwards”Remove the person who has stepped down, under Users. Their account still exists — they may be in another club — they simply no longer have access to yours.
