Club details and languages

Settings → Club details holds the things that identify your club.
What it is used for
Section titled “What it is used for”Not decoration. These details appear:
- on invoices you send — name, address, bank details
- in the header of emails your members receive
- on your public event pages, where people who are not members see them
- on tickets
So a club that has not filled this in sends invoices with a gap where the address should be, which is the kind of thing a member mentions to the committee rather than to you.
The logo
Section titled “The logo”Upload it once. It appears on tickets, in email headers and on your public pages.
A square-ish image works best — it has to survive being small in an email header and large on a ticket.
Languages
Section titled “Languages”Your club has a default language, and that is what members get unless Flok knows better. A member with their own language preference gets theirs.
This matters more than it sounds in Switzerland: a club in Biel with both languages in its membership sends in both, from the same list, without maintaining two of anything.
Bank details
Section titled “Bank details”Used on invoices. Without them an invoice has a payment link but nothing for somebody who wants to pay by bank transfer — which, in a Swiss club, is still most people.
